From the moment your kitchen is commissioned, one maker takes it on as theirs. They work from the same drawings you approved with your designer — nothing lost or reinterpreted between the two. They stay with your kitchen from the first cut of timber to the final coat of lacquer. This isn't a production line, and it was never meant to be one. A kitchen made by one pair of hands, start to finish, carries a kind of care that a process built for speed simply can't.

Your kitchen is assembled twice
Before anything is packed for delivery, your kitchen is built once already — in full, here in Shrewsbury. Every door hung, every drawer fitted, every finish checked, under proper workshop light where nothing can hide. Only once it's right does it come apart again, piece by piece, ready for the road.

See it being made
Partway through making, we'll invite you up to Shrewsbury to see your kitchen for yourself — not finished, but real: cut, joined, taking shape on the bench. Most clients tell us it's the moment the project stops being drawings and becomes an actual kitchen.
Call ahead and your maker will be there — the person who's been working on it, ready to show you exactly where things stand.
The maker's letter
A note from the person who made it
Every kitchen that leaves Shrewsbury arrives with a handwritten note from the person who made it. Not a printed card — a note, in their own handwriting, about the kitchen they made for you.
Delivery and Installation
Installed by the people who know it
The team who install your kitchen aren't brought in separately — they're ours, and in most cases they'll already know the piece: how it was made, where the weight sits, what to look for when something needs a final adjustment on site. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor meeting your kitchen for the first time. Installation typically takes a few days, depending on scope.
Aftercare
The journey doesn't end when the last drawer is fitted
Three months after installation — once you've lived in the kitchen, filled the drawers, understood how the space works for you — one of our team comes back. Drawers may need a small adjustment after the weight of contents settles. Doors can be fine-tuned. This visit is complimentary and expected. It's part of how we build a kitchen, not an exception to it.
What our aftercare visit covers
- Drawer and hinge adjustment after settling.
- Any minor door alignment.
- Questions about the care and maintenance of your finishes.
- Booked at a time that suits you — usually within three months of installation.
