Sometimes the kitchen space in your home just isn't right for the kitchen you need — too small, too dark, too cold, or simply in the wrong place. We know how to fix that.
How it starts
Come and talk to us. It costs nothing, but you will leave a design consultation with good advice and meaningful budgets from people who deliver kitchen projects week after week. We'll look over whatever you're happy to share – ideally floor plans, existing photos, and some images of kitchens and spaces you like. Our free design consultations can take place in person at one of our showrooms, or virtually.
First, a brief...
Usually in your existing kitchen. Is there a home for everything, so the worktops stay clear? Does the layout actually work, or does it just look like it does on paper? We ask what works in your current kitchen, what doesn't, and what's driving the change. We look at the images you've saved, survey your existing storage so we know what needs to fit into the new cabinets, and photograph and measure anything you want to keep. Then we measure everything else, so we can rebuild your space accurately in 3D.
No-one can picture a kitchen from a 2D floor plan, and even a hand sketch only gets you so far — so that's not what you get. You'll see exactly what you're getting in photo-realistic 3D: the layout, the look, what it'll actually feel like to stand in, before anything's committed.

Why it’s important to combine the kitchen design process with the design of the space.
Here is an example of two viable kitchen design alternatives in plan view. The 2D plan of the spaces look identical, with only the cabinet location changing.
Look outside, and the two proposals aren't the same at all.
Move the cabinets, and the outside wall moves with them — a window shifts, an opening changes shape, a roofline follows. On an extension, that's the planning application.
